Star Wars Review
Hello patrons of Ave Vee. I am Reggie and I have written for Vinnie P. before. My dear friend and cousin has asked me to write a review on Supergirl, but I have been working my tail off at my new job and have not had a chance to gaze upon the show, Supergirl, but I had Christmas Day off and myself and my grandson got a chance to go and see the new Star Wars movie. I will be writing about this movie instead of Supergirl.
The new Star Wars movie is every bit as good as it had been anticipated. The new hero’s and heroin’s they are developed in a manner that is rather fast but acceptable for the movie and the stories.
I will not give you names or any plot twists or anything that might spoil the movie for those of you whom have not seen it yet. This is a must see movie if you are a sci-fi fan and or a Star Wars fan.
I give this movie a double pump up on the bro scale.
JUST GO SEE IT!!!!
Creed Review
The story begins in a juvenile Detention Center ( juvi ) where the action starts in the first few scenes, Where the wife of the late Apollo Creed, Mary Anne Creed (played by Phylicia Rashad) Was picking up, and adopting Creed’s illegitimate son.Adonis Johnson (played by Michael B. Jordan)
Adonis, never knew his famous father, who died before he was born. Still, there’s no denying that boxing is in his blood, so Adonis heads to Philadelphia, the site of Apollo Creed’s legendary match with a tough kid named Rocky Balboa. Once in the City Adonis tracks Rocky (Sylvester Stallone) down and asks him to be his trainer. Despite his insistence that he is out of the fight game for good, Rocky sees in Adonis the strength and determination he had known in Apollo the fierce rival who became his closest friend. Agreeing to take him on,
Rocky trains the young fighter, even as the former champ is battling an opponent more deadly than any he faced in the ring.
With Rocky in his corner, it isn’t long before Adonis gets his own shot at the title…but can he develop not only the drive but also the Eye of the Tigger, in time to get into the ring?

The Martian Movie Review

The movie this week is THE MARTIAN
Based on the Novel by Andy Weir. Starring, Matt Damon as astronaut
Mark Watney and a few more faces you may know.
During a manned mission to Mars, Astronaut Mark Watney (Matt Damon) is presumed dead. And it happens that fast within 2 to 3 min. so you don’t have to wait long for action. From that point on is a survival story. Watney finds himself stranded and alone on the hostile planet. With only meager supplies, he must draw upon his ingenuity, wit and spirit to subsist and find a way to signal to Earth that he is alive. Millions of miles away, NASA and a team of international scientists work tirelessly to bring “the Martian” home, while his crewmates(of The Aries III) concurrently plot a daring, if not impossible rescue mission. As these stories of incredible bravery unfold, the world comes together to pray for Watney’s(Matt Damon) safe return. Strong Plot,Good Effects,Great Set and good Cast on Bro scale I have to give THE MARTIAN A yah, yah bro. You want to see A good movie this is one.

The Intern Movie Review
The Intern
Staring: Robert De Niro, Anne Hathaway, Nat Wolff

Ben Whittaker (Robert De Niro) is a 70-year-old widower who has discovered that retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. He has an opportunity to go back work, he becomes a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin (Ann Hathaway).
This movie has the elements of a great film, with Robert De Niro you can’t go wrong, with movies like ‘Cape Fear’, and ‘Taxi Driver’ to his credit. I have never seen him in a bad movie. If you’re looking for an action film this wouldn’t be it. This movie is quite bland and suffers from a lack of seasoning and color, if you know what I mean. Robert De Niro is definitely the saving grace of this movie.
On the Bro. Scale ‘The Intern’ gets, a yah bro
I’d wait till it comes out on DVD.

The Flash TV Review
Reggie and I were talking about how many comic book heroes are on TV and in movies as of late. And there are
several more on the horizon, such as Supergirl on the 26th of this month just to name one. And of course I
brought up the name of the Flash
because he watches it on the CW network at 8:00 pm on Tuesdays. He told me it
was just as good as the comic books in many ways, if not better. The story line is not the same as the comics;
the TV series uses special effects capable of bringing to life the speed of the Flash. You can check it out on
Hulu. There is just one problem. If you want to see it from the pilot you will not be able to on Hulu, you’ll
have to start with season 2 episode 1. Fortunately it is available on Netflix if you have a subscription you can
watch the pilot, and all of the following episodes up to season 2 through the final episode of season 2. Happy
viewing and hope you enjoy it as much as we do and did.
